Temperature checks are the records verifiers look at first. NutriCent records each one with the time and the person who took it, compares it with the limit for that kind of check, and asks for a corrective action straight away when a reading is out of range. The temperatures MPI's template asks you to check What happens when a reading is out of range The entry is flagged before it is saved, with the limit it broke and the MPI card that limit comes from. The staff member records what they did: moved the food, adjusted the unit, discarded it, or called a technician. A recheck can be linked to the reading it resolves, so the export shows the problem and the fix together. Managers see anything still needing action on the Today screen. Coming soon: automatic logging We are building a small Wi-Fi logger that sits in each chiller and freezer and records the temperature for you, day and night, into the same log. It is in development and not yet available; founding kitchens get first units at a discount. Can I set my own limits? Yes. Each fridge and freezer has its own limit, so a unit set to 4°C is checked against 4°C. For cooking, cooling and reheating, a setting looser than the MPI limit is ignored. Does it track cooling over time? Yes. A cooling record stores each timed reading, so the two cooling stages can be checked, not just the final temperature. Can I export the log for my verifier? Yes, as PDF or CSV, including corrective actions and the recheck that resolved each problem. Do I need special thermometers? No. Staff use your existing probe and enter or say the reading. Automatic loggers are coming soon.
