Simply Safe & Suitable is MPI's template Food Control Plan for food service and retail businesses. NutriCent is structured around it, so each record the template asks for has a place in the app, and every limit it checks cites the card it comes from. Where each record lives in NutriCent When your verifier visits Export your records as a PDF or a spreadsheet for the period your verifier asks about. Corrective actions and rechecks come with the records they belong to, and the export says whether any filed record has been changed since. MPI updates the template from time to time; the current version is v39-00005. Check with your verifier which version your plan is registered on. Keeping records for four years Food safety records generally need to be kept for four years. NutriCent keeps them for that long, including after you stop using it, and you can ask for an export at any time. Is this the official MPI app? No. NutriCent is an independent product by Salix Limited, built around the MPI template. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by MPI. Do I still need the printed template? Your registered plan still applies and its procedures do not change. NutriCent replaces the paper record sheets, not the plan. What if my plan is a custom one? Talk to us.
